Signals · Watch every account

Find out while there's still time to act

Signals watches every account with each data load and flags what needs attention — money moving to a competitor, payroll gone quiet, a CD about to mature — scored, ranked, and backed by the exact transactions that triggered them.

Two categories:
Protect — catch customers before they leave Grow — act while opportunities are warm
The problem

Every lost account leaves a trail. Nobody's reading it.

Attrition isn't sudden — it's a sequence of transactions. The problem is scale: thousands of accounts, refreshed daily, and a review cycle measured in quarters.

Churn is obvious — in hindsight

The outbound transfers, the stopped payroll, the emptied money market: the pattern is in the data months before the close request. Hindsight is just the first time someone looked.

A book of thousands can't be reviewed by hand

Quarterly portfolio reviews find last quarter's problems. Money moves daily, and the accounts that need a call today don't announce themselves.

Flags without evidence get ignored

An "at-risk" score nobody can explain creates work. A detection with the exact transactions attached creates a phone call.

How it works

Deterministic detection you can defend

No model deciding who's "risky" behind a curtain. Every signal is a reproducible rule over your accounts and enriched transactions.

Rules, not predictions

If a signal fired, the data says exactly why — and the "How it's detected" card shows every threshold in plain English.

Scored 0–100

Priority, dollar magnitude, and recency combine into one score, so the feed ranks itself. A $184K transfer pattern outranks a $1K one.

Refreshed with every load

Signals regenerate automatically each time your files land. New detections activate; cleared behavior resolves on its own.

A lifecycle, not a one-off alert

First detected, last confirmed, recurrence count — a repeat offender looks different from a first-time flag.

Signal library

Catch risk early. Act while it’s warm.

Two families of signals — Protect for retention risks, Grow for warm opportunities. Here's a sample of each; the full library comes out in the demo.

Protect — retention risks

  • Outbound Transfers to Competitor Critical

Repeated interbank transfers to the same institution — review the destinations and call before the pattern becomes permanent.

  • Payroll Credits Stopped Critical

Payroll ACH ran for months, then went quiet — a job change, employer switch, or new primary bank, each needing a different play.

  • External Loan Payment Stopped Critical

Regular payments on an outside loan stopped — often a refinance elsewhere. If so, counter with your own offer.

  • Micro-Deposits Detected High

Tiny verification deposits from an external institution — the earliest warning that a customer is linking this account to a competitor. A retention touch now beats one after the transfers start.

  • Combination Attrition Risk Critical

Multiple Protect signals converging on one account — the highest-confidence retention flag the platform produces. Escalate for an immediate save call.

Grow — warm opportunities

  • CD Maturing Soon High

Call before maturity with renewal or reinvestment options — after payout, the funds usually leave within days.

  • Commercial Loan Maturing Soon High

Start the renewal conversation now — before the borrower shops the refinance somewhere else.

  • New Commercial Loan Without Deposit Relationship High

The lending relationship is your opening — pitch the operating account and win the deposits too.

  • Extraordinary Deposit Medium

A deposit far outside the account's normal pattern — reach out while the funds are still here with CD, money market, or investment options.

A sample, not the catalog — the full library covers the deposit, loan, and engagement lifecycle. In-product, every signal shows a plain-English "How it's detected" card, so your team always knows why something was flagged.

Frequently asked questions

Core alerts are static, single-event triggers — balance below X. Signals are behavioral: each account is evaluated against its own history on enriched transactions, so patterns like "payroll that ran for 14 months went quiet" or "repeated transfers to the same competitor" become detectable. And every detection carries its evidence, so the flag explains itself.
Detection is deliberately not AI — every signal is a deterministic, reproducible rule, and the evidence is stored with the detection. AI is used on top of detection: writing digest summaries and recommending which detections to start with. Facts come from rules; words come from AI.
Thresholds are standardized per signal and fully disclosed — every signal shows a plain-English "How it's detected" card with its exact windows and limits. You control what you follow: per-signal subscriptions, feed filters by category and priority, and your AI Recommendations focus.
Signals regenerate as the final step of every data refresh — with a daily file feed, that means daily. Each detection shows when it was first detected and last confirmed, and a resolved signal reactivates automatically if the behavior returns.
Open it, read the evidence, act. Create a pre-filled task in Engagement Manager, generate a meeting brief for the customer, or ask the agent to pull the full relationship. The feed is a work queue ranked by score — not another report to scroll.
